I am a doctorate prepared Family Nurse Practitioner in a private practice specialty clinic. My practice focus in sleep medicine is seeing and treating new and existing patients across the age spectrum for sleep health concerns of insomnia, circadian rhythm disorders, hypersomnia, obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), restless leg syndrome (RLS), and parasomnia. I have enjoyed a clinical practice combination of family medicine, neurology and sleep medicine over the years, especially assessing patient improvements in their medical/health status after educating the importance of sleep, short- and long-term effects of sleep on both mind and body, as well as the influence sleep quality, or lack thereof, has on other medical comorbidities.
