Dr. Farahani is a Licensed Psychologist providing clinical and health psychological counseling services to adults and older areas, with a specialization in the treatment of insomnia using evidence-based Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I). She has had the pleasure of developing and piloting behavioral health integration programs for both Providence Health and Legacy Health, the two major health systems in Oregon. This includes sleep education. Other areas of specialty include helping clients with depression, anxiety, chronic health conditions including weight and pain, stress management, relationship issues, women’s health issues, and conducting bariatric pre-surgical evaluations. Her “style” or “approach” centers on being genuine, transparent, direct, and engaged with her clients. She believes strongly that focusing on strength, humor, and positivity is important and that change can happen fairly quickly in therapy.
